In June of 2022, I was awakened to hear the Lord say, “It is time for the hanging of Haman’s 10 sons.” In the book of Esther, we read the Purim story, where Haman’s decree of death and destruction of the Jews is turned around and God gives His people power over their would-be assassins. (See Esther 9:1). I believe we are seeing this in real time with the death of the Ayatollah (a modern Haman who cried for the death of the Jews and all Israel) and his ten sons (all the leaders who were taken out with him).
I believe this is a natural manifestation of what God said in 2022 that has spiritual ramifications for us all today. What is occurring in Iran is not just about the fall of a man or an earthly system, but the toppling of a principality that has affected believers world-wide. It is a season where the schemes of the enemy are boomeranging back on his own head! Hebrews 12:26 in TPT says it this way: “Once and for all I will not only shake the systems of the world, but also the unseen powers in the heavenly realm!””
This historic Purim season, I believe it’s important to see the book of Esther as a picture of the modern day ekklesia who is rising in favor, power and influence and overturning the decrees of the enemy. It is a message to the church to not remain silent, to go before the king and secure divine reversals for a new future for ourselves and the move of God in the midst of the earth. When the Book of Esther 8:1 declares that Esther was given “the house of Haman,” Scripture is revealing more than a historical detail it is unveiling a kingdom pattern that speaks directly to modern believers. In the Persian world, a man’s house represented his wealth, authority, access, and influence. God did not merely remove the enemy; He transferred the infrastructure of power into righteous hands. This is what divine reversal looks like when it matures into reformation.
For today’s believers, this moment declares that God’s reversals are not only about survival, healing, or relief from threat. They are about positioning. The very systems once leveraged against God’s people-economic, political, cultural, and institutional-can be reassigned for kingdom purposes. What was built to intimidate, silence, or exploit becomes a platform for influence, stewardship, and righteous authority.
Esther did not rule Haman’s house; she delegated it to Mordecai, who is an example to us of righteous leadership, intercession and authority (Esth. 8:2). This shows that prosperity in God’s kingdom is tied to responsibility and leadership, not indulgence. Influence is given so others may live. Authority is transferred so protection and justice can be established. Prosperity becomes a tool for preservation, generosity, and reform.
This shows that prosperity in God’s kingdom is tied to responsibility and leadership, not indulgence.
Purim reminds believers that God’s reversals often come after seasons of waiting, obedience, and courage. When illegitimate power collapses, God does not leave a vacuum. He fills it with prepared people. The house of Haman becomes a prophetic promise: when God turns the tables, He does not simply rescue His people from danger He sets them in places of influence, equips them with resources, and entrusts them with authority to shape the future.
Such is the case in Iran now. The Esther church must pray for a Mordecai to step into a place of leadership, establishing righteous rule, resetting laws and turning the curse to a blessing for that nation and others. God has already been fueling a deep revival within that nation, now let it spread to the ends of the earth. We must pray this natural revolution establishes a new day of freedom for the Iranian people and the nations of the earth and that the global awakening is seen, not just in the salvation of millions of souls, but in the establishment of a new Iran, a safer Israel and a transformed Middle-East.
